"Daring Greatly" by Brene Brown

This book is a phenomenal read and speaks practically and directly to the issues of shame and vulnerability.  She describes what vulnerability is and isn't and how it would benefit our society and relationships.

"Mending the Soul" by Steve & Celestia Tracy

It's rare to find material that blends psychology and Christian theology as well as in this book.  The writers address what abuse is, its effects, and how to heal.

"Parenting From the Inside Out" by Daniel Siegel, PhD

I appreciate this book because it speaks to parents who are struggling from their childhoods and are now responsible for their own children.  Interesting, introspective read.
