Divorce Support

Divorce is one of the most difficult situations and stressful times to go through.  The logistics, the lawyers, the financial strain, the impact of the whole family, the heartbreak…it’s a lot.  Sometimes people will feel like their head is spinning and they feel very lost.  Others might feel almost liberated but not know what to do next and are just trying to put the pieces together.

For those with kids, studies have shown that it’s the ongoing conflict between parents that is especially hard on kids, not just the divorce itself.  So if you are able to (mostly) peacefully co-parent, which will be healthiest for your kids, then the impact on them won’t be as overwhelming.  For some, divorcing couples are already there in terms of co-parenting and focusing on what’s best for the kids.  For others it can take a lot of work to get there, and I know for some, circumstances with ex-spouses are extremely difficult.

I offer a safe space for teens and adults to process the changes that come with a divorce and share resources, coping strategies, a sounding board, and non-judgmental support through the whole process.
